Source Intelligence

Observed source structure, normalization boundaries, and diagnostic interpretation limits.

This workspace describes source-derived reconciliation evidence. It does not establish source-system authority, engineering approval, or turnover readiness.

Observed Evidence Layers

Observed evidence layers for diagnostic context—not governed source authority levels.

  1. Archive line evidence

Archive tag records provide the reconciliation candidate population and selected source timestamp values.

  2. Live P&ID pipeline objects

Pipeline-object source values provide raw tags, size, specification, fluid, and endpoint context.

  3. Object-to-drawing links

Data-link records connect live pipeline objects to drawing records through the observed project bridge.

  4. Drawing source records

Drawing records provide source-linked drawing names, identifiers, titles, descriptions, areas, types, and revision values when populated.

Diagnostic Method

  1. Select archive-line candidates

One archive record is selected per nonblank tag using the current source ordering rule.

  2. Derive comparable logical-line tags

A live logical-line tag is derived only when a raw pipeline tag supports the established size-prefix and specification-suffix pattern.

  3. Link live objects to drawing records

Live pipeline objects are connected to drawing records through the observed object-to-drawing data-link bridge.

  4. Surface context signals

Archive-only candidates, endpoint gaps, cross-drawing representation, multiple specifications, multiple raw fluid values, and placeholder identity values are surfaced for engineering context.

Interpretation Boundaries

  1. Archive source values are reconciliation evidence and are not asserted as current, controlled, or authoritative project records.
  2. A normalized match and linked drawing evidence do not constitute engineering approval or turnover readiness confirmation.
  3. Endpoint gaps, placeholder identity values, and multiple raw source values require engineering context before interpretation.
  4. Drawing traceability lists source-linked pipeline objects and does not establish drawing approval, completeness, or revision control.
