Reconciliation methodology

Logical-line reconciliation compares archive line tags to live pipeline tags normalized from the current P&ID model. Drawing evidence follows the object-to-drawing bridge:

PipeLines.PnPID → PnPDataLinks.RowId → PnPDataLinks.DwgId → PnPDrawings.PnPID

Archive rows are treated as reconciliation evidence. A normalized match indicates candidate alignment for engineering review, not automatic approval of the live register.

Known limitations

  • Archive data is treated as reconciliation evidence, not automatically as the current controlled register.
  • A normalized match is not equivalent to engineering approval.
  • Endpoint gaps require engineering-context review.
  • This prototype currently validates one Plant 3D/P&ID database shape.
